The spacious, anti-slip deck provides ample foot room and a secure grip, enhancing balance and comfort. The optimized stance platform evenly distributes weight, improving control during sharp turns and reducing leg strain, especially during long rides or stop-and-go traffic.
Fantastic scooter.
My only gripe is the stem, it’s not firm.
When you’re traveling at higher speeds, feeling that wiggle, leaves you feeling lil nervous.
Overall, I’m hoping I’ll have a good experience with Ausom and will stick with them.
We will see when something fails, how the whole ordering experience is.
Shipping took a little longer than expected due to high demand. I called to check the status, and customer service was great—they explained everything clearly and said they would do their best to ship it soon. Two days later, the scooter arrived.
So far, it feels solid. It reaches up to 28 mph, which is exactly what I was looking for. The battery performance has been good—I get about 8 hours to fully charge from 10% to 100%. Power is decent as well; it handles hills depending on the incline, averaging around 12 mph uphill.
I use it every day for about 6 miles and only need to charge it every two days.
In the future, I would consider buying a dual-motor scooter instead of a single-motor one. However, for the price, I think this scooter is an excellent deal. Overall, I’m satisfied with it so far.
Best scooter I have ever had wheelies so easy only reason why it’s a 4 star is the throttle it snapped after only 400 miles and took a month for us to get a replacement and is still on preorder to this day but still really good quality for the price I got upgraded rear brakes that are ment for there faster scooters with a bigger rotor for even better stopping power
I bought this Ausom L1 a month ago. Yesterday had to drive it in the snow after work and decided to write a rewiew. The scooter is awesome, I have 140 miles on it. I drowe it in the rain, snow, and it still works perfectly. Which means that it proves its IP54 rating. Definetly perfect beginner scooter if you don't want scooter without any suspension. The range is pretty good. I'm driving it to work and then back home which comes up to 6.8 miles a day. I'm driving it in a race mode so I can drive it for 2 days without charging it because I'm driving it uphill for most of the time. Definetly can recommend this scooter especially for its price.
I love the scooter it is well built for the sticker price. Great for neighborhood riding. Wouldn’t suggest any off-roading on default settings. You’d have to increase output. Riding in race mode the battery drains pretty fast but it’s a great time. I also use it for food shopping and it holds everything great and still pushes through. One con of this scooter is the park mode. I’ve been about to cross dangerous roads and it automatically goes into park mode when stationary so you have to stay locked in with the mode it’s in. I looked in manual wasn’t a way to turn that off. Suspension is amazing. Holds great to the road nice big tires. Also not crazy about the turn signal. You have to hit it then hit same direction to turn it off. Doesn’t make a noise so sometimes it’s on and you have no idea. Should’ve had that make a ticking noise or something. Still a great scooter it’s my first one and I’m very happy with my purchase already put almost 100 miles on it.
I didnt really expect much for $550 but this scooter is beyonnddd ausom!!!!
Its made real solid and turns heads whereever I go!!!...can't wait to buy another ausom scooter down the road.
I've never had an electric scooter before so I have nothing to compare it to but as far as being new to electric scooters it surpassed all my expectations! I bought it for work (door to door) and it's worth every penny!
I’ve been riding the Ausom L1 for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a great scooter for the price. For around $500–$600, you’re getting something that feels way more premium. The motor is surprisingly strong—it picks up speed quickly and handles hills better than I expected. I weigh about 200+ lbs, and it still pulls without feeling sluggish, which says a lot.
The range is another highlight. On eco mode, I can stretch close to 35 miles, but even when I ride faster in sport mode, I still get a solid 20–25 miles, which is more than enough for my daily needs. The ride quality is smooth thanks to the suspension and big tires, and it feels stable even on slightly rougher roads. Braking is sharp and reliable with both disc and electronic brakes working together.
It folds down easily, which makes storing it in the trunk or carrying it into the house no hassle. Charging does take several hours, but that’s expected at this price point.
Overall, the Ausom L1 feels powerful, sturdy, and fun to ride. If you want a scooter that gives you real performance without breaking the bank, this is a solid pick.
I’ve had the L1 for about a week and a half and almost 100 miles. I’ve put it through the wringer on many occasions, and it’s outperformed every single time. If you’re looking for a budget scooter that also performs very well, gets decent range, and it fast for its price range, the L1 is the way to go. I love it, and at some point I may even upgrade
I honestly love this machine ! I researched for a couple months before making my choice and I feel like a genius now that I have it .
My only discomfort is the location of the throttle that’s a bit cumbersome and the kickstand that sometimes is a little dubious.
But even if I had known beforehand those minor issues I could have still made this purchase because of my experience so far .
I LOVE 💕 my new ride !
Received in good condition which can be rare. The L1 feels solid and comfortable. I was able to do 27 miles on a single charge switching from race to sport mode but mostly rode in race mode. I personally would prefer a thumb throttle to use for a less fatigue experience. NFC is snappy. Also the charger is slow and took 10.5hrs to charge to 100%. For me I feel better being around when charging for safety reasons and will never charge outside in the Texas heat when it 102F or overnight while sleeping no matter what brand of batteries or BMS is used. So plan your day accordingly when charging. The stem has be adjusted in order to lock in place for travel. So you will have to setup the stem for your personal preference again on your next ride. The front light is good but could be better. Mine is personally setup to fish along the Bayous of Houston, Tx. I feel this is a good value.
This scooter is very nice. It is quick, but not too fast. The board is fairly wide and stable. The lighting is sufficient. The brakes are excellent and the suspension is fairly good.
For myself the throttle would be better if it were thumb operated as opposed to being up and using multiple fingers. This makes it awkward for using the brake lever. Otherwise fairly well thought out machine.
I haven't figured out how to use the NFC card on my phone. When I can do that I will be much happier.
Would have given five stars but when it first arrived, it wouldn't go over 15 miles per hour. We had to Google to figure out how to unlock it. Should have been disclosed in manual. Nearly had to return. I understand this is probably a safety feature but very frustrating process for a grown-up.
Great scooter for the price! My son enjoys riding it a lot. Brakes got squeaky from the start, but just replaced the OE pads with Top Gear ceramic ones. Very quiet and seem to grab a little harder…
Yes. The scooter accommodates riders from 1.5 to 2 meters tall (4'11" to 6'7"), making it a great fit for a wide range of users.
The L1 features 10-inch tubeless, puncture-resistant tires designed for city streets and light off-road conditions.
This e-scooter currently does not support app control.
Park mode is designed to prevent accidental starts, which activates automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity. In Park mode, the scooter cannot be started even if the throttle is pressed. To exit Park mode, simply press the Plus button.
The NFC locking feature helps prevent unauthorized use of the scooter. To unlock the display, place an NFC card or your phone near the NFC detection area. The three included NFC cards are ready for immediate use. To unlock the display with your smartphone, first, enable NFC on your phone. Then, access the hidden menu on the display and navigate to P18. Press the Plus button until the letter “b” appears at the top of the display. Finally, place your phone near the NFC detection area. If the number at the top of the display increases by one, it means your phone is successfully linked, allowing you to unlock the display with it.
On the P18 page of the hidden menu, the number displayed at the top represents the total number of linked NFC cards or devices. If this number increases by one after attempting to link your phone, it indicates a successful connection.
