Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 40 reviews.
Absolutely loving the F1 Max so far! Absolutely shreds and tons of power. The range is great if in eco mode, can do 35 miles all day long. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into a higher end scooter!
I bought two of the F1 MAX edition, me and my wife love how comfortable they are to ride. Whether you wanna cruise around or you want to get more extreme going, Off Road you just feel in control the whole time. I would recommend these to anybody who just enjoys cruising around the neighborhood or it’s looking for the thrill, going up a super steep hill, because this thing has zero issues doing either.
I've bought the F1 Max, The SR 1 and the DT2 Pro all within the past 9 months. I bet I've been responsible for many Ausom scooters when I'm asked for a recommendation! (Ausom, you can make the best scooter on the market if you homologated the 3 above scooters into 1). Any one reading this can't go wrong with any of the listed models. Summary = F1 is a step above due to voltage, the sr1 is fast and nimble but not as torque as f1 Max. The DT2 is a good balance of these and range is solid. Real world 25-45 miles depending on model. All great! All different! Buy another Charger People
Amazing overall, and excellent for the price. I am proud to say this is my first ever E scooter and has reached or exceeded my expectations. Suspension makes the road feel great with outstanding stability and breaks that work in the most critical moment. The speed is as promised and range is enough to let me enjoy riding to the park strolling with confidence that ill make It back and heading home with no worry all in a single charge. This has been an amazing experience and I cannot wait for the next scooter from the ausom store to come arround!!
So here's my review ausom f1max: fully charged, race mode on and dual motor on i rode 13 miles to my work location from home without charging it at work, I maintained 40 miles per hour no issue and 37 mph going up an 8 percent incline for 1 mile and then mild ups and downs remainder to work. Made it 13 miles with 3/5 bars reading!! Heading home i wanted to do a full send test drain it to see what max will get. She maintained 40 once again leaving work once again did not charge and went 11 more miles before limping to 4 miles per hour and then having to walk 2 miles home. Im impressed, at 208 pounds, 1 mile hill that's 8 percent incline she did 23 miles before being drained. Im in love. Getting a second charger for sure! (I switched to eco at the last mile)
So I bought one back in June I loved it so much I bought a second one for my girlfriend for Christmas. I just bought it A couple weeks ago when it came back in stock and it is shipping was excellent. It was here in five days. Great customer service very impressed. I’m an honest reviewer, One I wish Ausom Would do is sell a packet of screws, bolts and nuts extra to go with it just in case some of them loose and fall out. That is my biggest concern with the scooter. Besides that I couldn’t be happier I even get police officers asked me where I get that because I think they’re interested in them where I live there’s a lot of bike tracks and trails. It would be very convenient for them.
The F1 Max is an exhilarating experience. It’s very stable and with me, 6’0” 230 lbs, the scooter can still hit 40 mph (according to the display). Dual Motor makes the scooter a bit jerky but single motor doesn’t have enough pick up speed. This scooter, in Dual Motor, takes me up hills with little issues and I live on a very steep hill.
Great scooter with great features! Got this to upgrade from my Kukirin G2 Max and wow it is a HUGE upgrade. Never realized how much of a difference the dual motor would make, especially when going up hills and for the extra speed in general.
This is my 2nd Scooter as I was hit on my first scooter! I upgraded to the F1 Max and am very happy with it! Handles beautifully! Fast acceleration, and easy folding on stem is a huge upgrade! The 60 Volt is also great for the distance! Can't say enough good things about you guys! Fast shipping, stout frame, and great components! Highly recommend the F1 Max. If you want zippy and speed go with dual motor.
Finally stopped raining and I was able to ride it!
-Cons-
Brakes need some work out of the box, the not big deal is aligning the rotors better to not rub on rotation. Annoying issue is the brakes are setup like Europe where front brake is the right lever and rear is the left. But the biggest issue is the brakes don’t seem to do anything, and then they get 3/4 of the way down and it feels like they want to lock up. Meaning there is way too much air in the line, when there should be none. And I don’t see a reservoir to help fill/bleed.
-Neutrals-
When in dual motor mode, there is a lot of travel in the throttle where it does nothing, then it springs to life and feels like its max acceleration the rest of way. Could just be me not being used to a dual motor. (maybe I can adjust in P settings?) lighting for brakes and turn signals could be way better, it’s mainly on the side, and doesn’t really show up behind you at night let alone day time, but that’s an issue with most scooters it seems
-Pros-
This thing is fast. Has plenty of power to pull me up the steep hills near me and I’m 250lbs +a backpack.
Deck length and width is great, super comfortable and plenty of room.
Handlebars have the turn signal buttons built into them and are secured.
Suspension is awesome, eats up all the bumps and cracks in the road and I haven’t bottomed out even at my weight.
Will have more updates as I ride it!
Best E-scooter I’ve ever driven. Very comfortable driving style and the speed is as expected. Tbh I don’t thinking im gonna get nothing else faster than this one unless Ausom makes it. Love this product. Looking forward to the next greatest build in e-scooters. How Fast can Ausom get💪🏿
The most amazing Father’s Day gift! Got it so fast they gave it to me early. Super stable, fun, love the different modes (speeds) I can set it to go. I’m a truck driver so I keep this with me and use it to have fun in my down time. I’ve ridden it in several different states and haven’t had any issues. She’s FAST AF—
First off I’m a very large adult male at 6 foot six 330 pounds. As I was researching scooters, I wanted something that was large enough had enough power that I would have no problem riding it having a good time and not worried about hills. I am approaching my first hundred miles on it. What I can say is it has exceeded my expectations. I have pushed the limits at a 25 mile ride with multiple hills at an average of 20 miles an hour. The scooter performed wonderful and still had battery power to spare. I would say my biggest critique so far is the trigger throttle design could be improved. Overall, I think this is one of the best performance scooters on the market for the Money. I would recommend giving it a shot. If you think it fits your needs and if you’re a big guy, I would say definitely go for it.
This thing is gangster lol, mine got stolen like a week ago luckily I put an AirTag on it and I was able to track it at local liquor store and get it back.
F1Max was received without any delay or problems. Due to weather, I’ve only been able to ride it a little. First impressions are very good. I’m a beginner, but to me this thing is extremely fast and powerful. However, using the eco mode, the F1Max is very smooth. I’m 5-11 and 215 lbs.
Love the acceleration and speed of my F1 max scooter. In fact it is so fast that a pigeon was unable to dodge me and smashed right into my chest. Highly recommend this scooter for anyone who loves speed!
First ever electric scooter and I have NO REGRETS! This thing is quick, responsive, and an absolute joy to ride! Best adult toy ever!!!! BRAVO AUSOM, keep ‘em coming!
I've only ridden a few miles so far, but I'm really impressed with the power, acceleration, and suspension. These also look great, and appear very well-built.
Great scooter didn’t know how to start it at first but found out it needed a little push first customer service has yet to get back to me though to see if the issue was resolved
Extremely pleased with my purchase of the Ausom L2! it is surprisingly stable at high speeds and very comfortable with the four shocks it has. I’ve been up to 43 mph in Race mode with a helmet and pads, I’ve been up to 33 mph in Sport mode with a helmet and no pads and felt very comfortable doing it, it’s that stable. “5/25/2025”, took it with me on vacation to Huntington Beach where I rode 9 miles in each direction on the beach strand, awesome experience! All other e-scooters I saw were a joke in comparison to mine, it showed! It feels like 75 lbs when lifting into a car for transport, but because of that weight, it’s very stable when riding which I like. StevenD
I am enjoying my scooter. I was hoping it would have had turn signals and usb charging like some of your cheaper models but not the end of the world. I would also like you to make it easier to find out the battery specs. No spec in the book with it or online that I can find.
I love the scooter it’s exactly what I was looking for . The suspension is perfect and holds a good amount of weight . The speed is more than enough , even without both motors on . When I need an extra burst of speed I press the double motor button and it’s super fast about 45 mph . I have absolutely no complaints about this scooter . It looks great also. Besides that I did get a flat tire but I am not sure how .
Received my order in like a week. Only assembly needed was to mount the handle bars and charge the battery. This scooter exhibits no sign of speed wobbles what do ever. Lighting is excellent, running lights, turn signals, brake lights and headlights are superb including the instrument panel which is easily visible in direct sunlight. The hydraulic brakes stop you on a dime. I couldn't be happier except for one thing which doesn't exist in the scooter industry and that would be the introduction of the implementation of a steering mechanism to give a behavior akin to a rack & pinion like found on a automobile along the lines of 2:1 or possibly 3:1 ratio. Obviously this would ad to the cost, but I would certainly pay that cost as this would certainly add to the enjoyment of riding scooters.
