Power Off: Ensure the scooter is powered off and disconnect the motor cable (if removing the entire wheel).
Deflate Fully: Remove the valve cap and press the valve core to release all remaining air.
Loosen the Hub: Use a hex key to loosen the split-hub screws (The Gallop's split-hub design makes inner tube replacement much easier!).
Inspect the Outer Tire: Before inserting the new tube, check the inside of the outer tire for any thorns, glass, or debris that caused the initial flat.
Slightly Inflate: Pump a tiny bit of air into the new tube to give it shape; this prevents it from getting pinched during reassembly.
Align the Valve: Ensure the 90-degree valve is pointing outwards and fits perfectly through the rim hole.
⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY NOTES
Avoid Pinching: Do not use sharp screwdrivers to pry the tire, as they can easily puncture the new inner tube. Use professional tire levers if necessary.
Check Motor Wires: When reinstalling the wheel, be careful not to pinch or strain the motor power cable.
Correct PSI: Always maintain 45-50 PSI. Under-inflated tires are the #1 cause of "pinch flats" and motor rim damage.
